Our students are having a lot of fun with math. They played a memory game where they matched numbers with the correct set of dots, for example, the number 5 with five dots. They are also practicing counting to 20 and back to 0. This helps them recognize number patterns and develop mental math strategies.<\/span><\/p>\n

In our Unit <\/span>Who We Are<\/span><\/i>, the children are getting to know each other better by creating a star. They made a paper figure of themselves and wrote why they are special. They also drew a self-portrait and collected compliments from classmates about what makes them a good friend. The stars are now hanging in the classroom, showing how unique everyone is.<\/span><\/p>\n

In Reading, the students are practicing on the iPad using <\/span>RAZ Kids<\/span><\/i>. The books can be listened to first, which helps them understand new words and sentences before reading on their own. Daily reading practice at home is recommended.
