I hope you all enjoyed the long weekend. Our young artists had a wonderful week filled with creativity and exploration across all grade levels:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>KG1 \u2013 Students practiced drawing circles, using both pencils and paint to build early drawing skills.<\/li>\n<li>KG2 \u2013 They explored the importance of our hands and fingers through making friendship bracelets. In their second class, they began a fabric project to express different emotions.<\/li>\n<li>Grade 1 \u2013 Students focused on the element of shape, using it to draw boys and girls.<\/li>\n<li>Grade 2 \u2013 Students connected with their culture by creating self-portraits using their favorite colors.<\/li>\n<li>Grade 4 \u2013 Students explored the concept of value, practicing a variety of shading techniques.<\/li>\n<li>Grade 5 \u2013 After refining shading skills, they focused on blending techniques to create drawings of Omani pots, while integrating all elements of art in their work.<\/li>\n<li>Grade 6 \u2013 Inspired by Jacob Lawrence, students began working on their own large projects, developing personal stories through art.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>It has been an inspiring week in the art room, and we are so proud of the progress each student is making.<\/p>\n<p>Wishing you all a beautiful and creative weekend! \ud83c\udf1f<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\ud83c\udfa8 Visual Art Weekly Update Welcome back!
