Your encouragement makes a world of difference as we build this math learning journey together. \ud83c\udf1f<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"341\" data-end=\"344\" \/>\n<p data-start=\"346\" data-end=\"583\"><strong data-start=\"346\" data-end=\"378\">\ud83e\udde9 This Week in Our Learning<\/strong><br data-start=\"378\" data-end=\"381\" \/>Our Grade 7 mathematicians have been busy moving from <em data-start=\"435\" data-end=\"467\">wholes \u2192 fractions \u2192 decimals.<\/em><br data-start=\"467\" data-end=\"470\" \/>They didn\u2019t just stop at converting fractions into decimals, but also explored the world of decimals in detail:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"584\" data-end=\"686\">\n<li data-start=\"584\" data-end=\"610\">\n<p data-start=\"586\" data-end=\"610\">\u2705 Terminating decimals<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"611\" data-end=\"642\">\n<p data-start=\"613\" data-end=\"642\">\ud83d\udd04 Non-terminating decimals<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"643\" data-end=\"686\">\n<p data-start=\"645\" data-end=\"686\">\ud83d\udd01 Recurring vs. non-recurring decimals<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"688\" data-end=\"802\">It was wonderful to see their curiosity and discussions spark as they compared these different forms of numbers.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"804\" data-end=\"807\" \/>\n<p data-start=\"809\" data-end=\"1108\"><strong data-start=\"809\" data-end=\"833\">\ud83c\udf1f Student Spotlight<\/strong><br data-start=\"833\" data-end=\"836\" \/>This week, some of our creative learners found new ways to engage with math! Instead of just writing answers, they used the voice-recording feature on their devices to <em data-start=\"1004\" data-end=\"1015\">speak out<\/em> their math solutions \ud83c\udf99\ufe0f\u2795\u2797. It turned problem-solving into a performance\u2014what a fun twist!<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"1110\" data-end=\"1113\" \/>\n<p data-start=\"1115\" data-end=\"1419\"><strong data-start=\"1115\" data-end=\"1135\">\ud83d\udd2e Looking Ahead<\/strong><br data-start=\"1135\" data-end=\"1138\" \/>Next week, we\u2019ll continue connecting the dots by diving deeper into <strong data-start=\"1206\" data-end=\"1246\">fractions, decimals, and percentages<\/strong>\u2014and most importantly, their <strong data-start=\"1275\" data-end=\"1301\">real-life applications<\/strong>.
