The music department is off to a fantastic start, and I&#8217;d like to share an update on what our students are working on.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"selected\">In <\/span><span class=\"selected\">7th grade<\/span><span class=\"selected\">, our students have officially embarked on their exciting unit on <\/span><span class=\"selected\">music for video games<\/span><span class=\"selected\">. They are now in the process of choosing their individual songs for the performance component, which will be an excellent opportunity for them to apply what they&#8217;ve learned creatively.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"selected\">Our <\/span><span class=\"selected\">8th-grade<\/span><span class=\"selected\"> students have begun their deep dive into the <\/span><span class=\"selected\">Blues<\/span><span class=\"selected\">, exploring its rich history and identifying its main characteristics as a sociocultural expression.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"selected\">In <\/span><span class=\"selected\">10th grade<\/span><span class=\"selected\">, we have started our exploration of <\/span><span class=\"selected\">Jazz<\/span><span class=\"selected\">, a vibrant and complex genre.
