Alongside getting to know each other, we\u2019ve laid some strong foundations for our learning journey ahead.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">We began with an icebreaker where students shared about their experiences with Maths. It was a light-hearted way to start the year and learn more about each other.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Afterwards, we got straight into our first topic \u2013 the <\/span><b>laws of exponents<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> and <\/span><b>scientific notation<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u2728 <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Spotlight:<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> A few students demonstrated strong eagerness to learn and they have been putting continuous effort.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\ud83d\udd0e <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Looking ahead:<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Next week, we\u2019ll explore <\/span><b>exponential growth and decay<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, applying what we\u2019ve learnt to real-world problems.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dear Parents and Students, It has been a wonderful start to the school year, and I am delighted to share what we\u2019ve been learning in Mathematics across the grade 11 Mathematics Applications and Interpretations.
