Building on our unit on cell biology, students researched and presented on what cancer is, how it develops and spreads, and examined a specific type of cancer in detail\u2014including its origin, risk factors, symptoms, and detection methods. They also provided brief overviews of other cancer types and explained innovative scientific methods used in treatment, such as immunotherapy, CRISPR gene editing, precision medicine, AI in cancer care, and nanotechnology.<\/p>\n<p class=\"my-0\">Through these presentations, students highlighted both the remarkable benefits and the challenges of modern cancer treatments, including high costs and ethical questions.
