Over the past several weeks, students have been actively engaged in a variety of games and activities that helped them build key skills in coordination, teamwork, and movement strategies.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>In Grades 1\u20132<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, students learned the basics of striking a ball with their hand or bat, running to a base, and working with others to field the ball. They developed fundamental motor skills, improved spatial awareness, and followed simple game rules with growing confidence.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\n<p><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>In Grades 3\u20134<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, students applied more accurate striking techniques and developed their ability to anticipate, run, and make decisions during game play. They learned to communicate effectively in both offensive and defensive roles.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\n<p><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>In Grades 5\u20136<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, students demonstrated a deeper understanding of tactics and gameplay. They practiced using different striking styles (such as overhand and underhand), learned effective fielding positions, and showed good sportsmanship throughout.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\n<p><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">To celebrate the end of the unit, each class took part in mini-games and class tournaments. These culminating activities gave students a chance to demonstrate their learning, collaborate with their peers, and enjoy the excitement of friendly competition.
