At ABIS, we believe in the power of interdisciplinary learning. This week, our Grade 7 students are engaged in an innovative unit exploring The Science of Music, Emotions, and Cellular Biology. They\u2019re investigating how music influences cellular processes, the link between emotional responses and mitochondrial energy production, and how dopamine released by music enhances neural communication.<\/div>\n
\nInterdisciplinary Units (IDUs) are a cornerstone of the ABIS curriculum, enabling students to integrate knowledge from multiple subject areas and develop deeper, more holistic understanding. Each year group participates in a dedicated IDU, culminating in the final MYP onscreen examination at the end of MYP 5.<\/div>\n
