A big <\/span>thank you<\/span><\/i> to all the parents who joined us for today\u2019s assembly! It was truly heartwarming to see you there, supporting your children and celebrating their learning journey. Your presence meant a lot to them\u2014and to us.<\/span><\/p>\n In the classroom, we\u2019ve been busy continuing our Unit of Inquiry: \u201cHow We Express Ourselves.\u201d This week, we explored <\/span>puppet stories<\/span><\/i>, and our focus was on \u201cThe Little Red Hen.\u201d We looked closely at the characters in the story and began learning about key parts of a book, such as the <\/span>front and back cover<\/span><\/i>, the <\/span>title<\/span><\/i>, <\/span>author<\/span><\/i>, and <\/span>illustrator<\/span><\/i>. These concepts will continue to be explored over the coming weeks.<\/span><\/p>\n In literacy, we introduced the letter \u201cY.\u201d The children practiced its sound and formation through playful and hands-on activities.<\/span><\/p>\n In math, we learned about the 3D shape \u201ccone.\u201d The children had fun creating cones using playdough and toothpicks\u2014a great way to connect shape learning with fine motor development.<\/span><\/p>\n
