Dear Parents,<\/span><\/p>\n

What a wonderful and busy week of learning we’ve had in Grade 1.<\/span><\/p>\n

In Math, we explored <\/span>fact families<\/span><\/i> and how numbers are connected through addition and subtraction. We also continued practicing <\/span>place value<\/span><\/i>, helping students understand the value of each digit in a number. The children enjoyed discovering how numbers work in different ways.<\/span><\/p>\n

In Literacy, we started mapping out our own stories \u2014 the first steps toward writing our very own books! The students thought carefully about their main character, the setting, a problem, and a solution. It\u2019s been amazing to see their creative ideas.<\/span><\/p>\n

This week was also <\/span>Book Week<\/span><\/i>, and we had fun celebrating our love for reading! We enjoyed buddy reading with Grade 3, swapped books with our friends, and had a dressing up as our favorite book characters.<\/span><\/p>\n

Finally, a big thank you to all the parents who joined us for the Student-Led Conference. We truly appreciate the time and effort you took to come and celebrate your child\u2019s learning with them.<\/span><\/p>\n
