Dear Secondary Families,<\/b><\/p>\n
Grade 12 Send Off<\/strong><\/p>\n Today was an emotional day as we said our final farewell to our Grade 12 students. We concluded their final day with an assembly that saw a presentation from the students and a video of their time with us, followed by a whole school send off as they walked out of the gates. Many of the students in this cohort have been with us form Kindergarten! Others joined from Grade 1 to Grade 7. I have personally been with them since Grade 7, both as their PHE Teacher and their Head of Secondary. With my own son Toby in this class, it also marked a pivotal moment for us as parents. They are a unique group of individuals who we know will go on to do great things! It has been a privilege to have been a part of their journey and we will all miss them dearly.<\/p>\n Welcome back to Grade 9 & 10\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Our Grade 9 and 10 students returned this week from a very successful four-day trip to Muscat and Nizwa. This enriching experience combined cultural exploration with outdoor adventure, including visits to forts, museums, and souqs, alongside a range of engaging activities. As an IB school, we place great value on learning beyond the classroom. This trip provided students with a unique opportunity to deepen their understanding of Oman\u2019s rich heritage, while also developing key skills such as teamwork, independence, and resilience. Thank you to our dedicated staff\u00a0 for their time, energy, and care in creating such a memorable experience for our students.<\/p>\n Progress Report<\/strong><\/p>\n This afternoon, you will have received your child\u2019s Progress Report, which provides an update on their progress at this point in the year. Please take some time to read through the report together. A more detailed report will be provided at the end of this academic year. If you have any questions about your child\u2019s progress, as always, feel free to contact their Advisor or Class Teacher.<\/span><\/p>\n Student-Led Conferences<\/b><\/p>\n <\/b>These will take place next week and offer an opportunity for parents, teachers and students to discuss their progress reports in more detail and set goals for the remainder of this academic year. On Tuesday, we will also have our Grade 10 and 12 Art exhibition in LC3.
