We focused on understanding and constructing direct proofs, proof by contradiction, and proof by contrapositive. Students engaged in challenging tasks that required them to justify each logical step, with an emphasis on structure, clarity, and precision. Our discussions highlighted how proofs are not just about \u201cgetting the answer\u201d but about communicating rigorous mathematical reasoning.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"645\" data-end=\"861\"><strong data-start=\"645\" data-end=\"667\">Student Spotlight:<\/strong><br data-start=\"667\" data-end=\"670\" \/>A big shoutout to all the class members for their creative approach to proving the sum of two even numbers is always even.
