We are thrilled to share some exciting news that marks a significant step forward in the continued development of our school. Thanks to the support provided by Sohar Aluminium under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme, ABIS will soon begin construction on three purpose-built science laboratories in a new building, located opposite the LC3 building. Work will commence shortly, with completion anticipated by January 2026.<\/p>\n
This remarkable initiative has been made possible solely through Sohar Aluminium\u2019s commitment to supporting education in our community, and we are deeply grateful for their generosity and partnership. Our most sincere thanks to the CEO of Sohar Aluminium, Said Al Masoudi, and the CSR committee.<\/p>\n
The new laboratories will be purpose-designed learning environments, supporting hands-on, inquiry-based science teaching across the IB continuum. These spaces will significantly enhance the learning experience for our students, providing opportunities for deeper exploration in physics, chemistry, biology, and environmental science.<\/p>\n
At ABIS, we are committed to preparing our students for the future with a focus on academic excellence and real-world skills. These new facilities represent a major investment in the future of our school \u2013 and, more importantly, in the futures of our students.<\/p>\n
In addition to serving our learners, these laboratories will also form part of our own CSR efforts, as we open their doors to support educational opportunities for the wider community. Whether through workshops, outreach programmes, or collaboration with local schools and educators, we aim to ensure that the benefits of these labs extend beyond ABIS, creating a lasting, positive impact on our region.<\/p>\n
