It was wonderful to see them share their learning with such confidence and enthusiasm. The Exhibition is more than just a project—it’s a journey that allows students to explore real-world issues, develop essential skills, and deepen their understanding of subjects that matter to them.

A huge thank you to Mr. Matt for guiding the students through their inquiries. This year’s Alice in Wonderland theme and its ‘down the rabbit hole’ concept provided a fitting metaphor for the students’ journey of exploration and discovery.

Throughout the Exhibition process, students strengthened key Approaches to Learning (ATLs), including research, communication, and critical thinking. They also built independence and resilience. It was inspiring to watch them collaborate, problem-solve, and reflect on their learning—demonstrating many attributes of the IB Learner Profile along the way. They showed curiosity in their inquiries, open-mindedness in exploring different perspectives, and courage in presenting their ideas to an audience.

Most importantly, the Exhibition gave students a voice, empowering them to take ownership of their learning and share their passions with the community. Seeing them engage so deeply with their topics and articulate their thinking so clearly was a true testament to their growth. A huge well done to our Grade 6 students, and a heartfelt thank you to everyone—mentors, teachers, and parents—who supported them on this journey!

International Food Evening

I cannot go without mentioning last Thursday’s International Food Evening—what a fantastic event! Thank you to everyone who contributed to its success, whether by running food stands, performing (special thanks to Russia and Brazil!), or simply by joining in the celebration. It was wonderful to see our community come together, and we look forward to making this an annual fixture in our calendar.

Ramadan

As we look ahead to the upcoming holiday week, we also prepare to welcome a very special time. Ramadan begins this weekend, marking a month of reflection, kindness, and togetherness for many of our families.

On behalf of the Primary Team, I would like to wish all those observing Ramadan a peaceful and blessed month. May this time bring you and your loved ones joy, strength, and a sense of community.
