{"id":315607,"date":"2025-02-06T15:18:50","date_gmt":"2025-02-06T11:18:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/abisoman.com\/broadcaster\/?p=315607"},"modified":"2025-02-06T15:19:20","modified_gmt":"2025-02-06T11:19:20","slug":"primary-swimming-gala-on-thursday-february-27","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/abisoman.com\/broadcaster\/2025\/02\/06\/primary-swimming-gala-on-thursday-february-27\/","title":{"rendered":"Primary Swimming Gala on Thursday, February 27"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/abisoman.com\/broadcaster\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/17\/2025\/02\/Screen-Shot-2025-02-06-at-1.41.11-PM.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-315642 lazyload\" data-src=\"https:\/\/abisoman.com\/broadcaster\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/17\/2025\/02\/Screen-Shot-2025-02-06-at-1.41.11-PM-300x168.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"624\" height=\"349\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 624px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 624\/349;\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">We are excited to invite you to our <\/span><b>Primary Swimming Gala on Thursday, February 27,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> a special event celebrating the progress and achievements of our students in their swimming classes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">This event marks the culmination of their swimming unit, allowing them to showcase their learning in a fun and supportive environment.<\/span><b> Participation is compulsory for all students,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> and they will compete based on their skill levels to ensure fair and encouraging competition.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">To accommodate all students and maintain a smooth event, we will have three sessions:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>First Session (8:20 AM &#8211; 9:00 AM) \u2013 Grade 4-6 Girls<\/b><b><br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Only female audiences are allowed, in respect of cultural and religious considerations.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>Second Session (9:00 AM &#8211; 11:00 AM) \u2013 K1-Grade 3 Boys &amp; Girls, and Grade 4-6 Boys &amp; Girls<\/b><b><br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Both male and female audiences are welcome to cheer for their families.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>Third Session (11:00 AM \u2013 11:30 AM) \u2013 Game Relays<\/b><b><br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Events:\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Freestyle Relay<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Table Tennis Ball Blowing &amp; T-Shirt Relay<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Participants: K1-Grade 3 representatives &amp; Grade 4-6 mixed teams<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Students have been grouped according to their swimming abilities:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">K1-Grade 2:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Advanced: 25m Freestyle &amp; Backstroke in the big pool<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Intermediate: 25m with kickboards and noodles in the big pool<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Beginners: Small pool with kickboards<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Grades 4-6:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Advanced: 50m Backstroke &amp; Freestyle<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Intermediate: 25m with kickboards<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">This event is not a competition but rather a celebration of each child&#8217;s progress and effort. We have reinforced this with students throughout the swimming unit and encourage them to participate with confidence.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">To ensure a smooth experience, we kindly ask that students arrive at school wearing their swimming attire to minimize congestion in the changing rooms.
