Can you guess which 2 events and where they are happening?<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;<a href=\"https:\/\/alpinefrenchschool.com\/blog\/french-traditions-chandeleur\/\">La chandeleur&#8217;<\/a> is our first event. It actually took place on February 2nd and is called pancake day in English. So, yes, on that day a lot of French speakers around the world make pancakes&#8230;..sorry &#8230; cr\u00eapes!\u00a0 Do you know how to make cr\u00eapes? See the recipe right <a href=\"https:\/\/sallysbakingaddiction.com\/make-crepes\/\">here<\/a>!<\/p>\n<p>Our second event is &#8216;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.history.com\/topics\/holidays\/mardi-gras\">Mardi Gras<\/a>&#8216; or Fat Tuesday in English. It is a very festive celebration happening in many countries, not only French speaking ones. There are beautiful parades to watch or take part in in which people wear costumes and beautifully decorated eye masks.
