Our week ended today with a visit from Jasmin and Charlie, the Service Dog. We all enjoyed the chance to meet Charlie and to learn a little about the important role service dogs play in supporting those in need. Charlie was most definitely a star! Thank you to Ms. Susan for arranging this visit.<\/span><\/p>\n Winter Concert<\/b> Art Gallery Showcase<\/b> Events Ahead<\/b> Another highlight of the season is our Primary Sports Day, scheduled for Tuesday, December 17th. \n<\/b>Thank you to everyone who joined us in the Mazoon on Wednesday evening for our Primary Winter Concert. It was wonderful to see a full house and feel the warmth of support from the ABIS community. I was incredibly proud of the students\u2019 performances, knowing how hard they worked to prepare for the show. Performing in front of such a large audience requires great courage, and our students exemplified the IB learner profile traits of being both courageous and risk-takers. A special thanks to Mr. Mino (and Mr. Camilo) for their dedication to working with the students and for their creative vision and production expertise.<\/span><\/p>\n
\n<\/b>I hope many of you had the opportunity to visit the Art Galleries in the LC3 lobby area. These galleries highlight the exceptional creative talents of our students across the school. A big thank you to Ms. Sanna, her assistant Ms. Hajer, and our secondary art specialist Mr. Marek for organizing these displays and guiding our students in developing their artistic skills.<\/span><\/p>\n
\n<\/b>With two weeks left before the winter break, our calendar is packed with exciting events. Next week, students will participate in morning run activities led by Ms. Dorothy, Mr. Fernando, and Ms. Nuria. These activities are in preparation for our first-ever ABIS Community Fun Run, taking place on Saturday, December 14th. I hope many of you can join us for this fun event.<\/span><\/p>\n
