Last week, Mona presented an activity on characterisation and Fatma on Setting. Mona had the students create character posters with clear success criteria; Fatma used images to have students determine the setting and what was happening in that setting.<\/p>\n<p>Today, Ryan presented an activity on conflict in the novel. He introduced the 3 types of conflict and then gave students a conflict to act out based on random selections. For all activities, the students were highly engaged and eager to participate in their peers&#8217; activities. The students who presented the activities experience a sense of accomplishment when they see that their peers enjoy the learning.
