This week, Grade 8 MYP students concluded their exploration of cell division, culminating in an engaging project where they designed models to illustrate the various stages of the cell cycle. This hands-on activity allowed students to deepen their understanding of key concepts such as mitosis and meiosis through creative expression.<\/span><\/p>\n

Before the presentations, students conducted thorough research, enhancing their investigative skills and reinforcing their knowledge of cellular processes. During the presentations, they effectively communicated their findings, demonstrating their ability to articulate complex biological concepts to peers.<\/span><\/p>\n

This project not only solidified their grasp of cell division but also fostered teamwork, critical thinking, and public speaking skills.
