We introduced Venn diagrams as a visual tool to represent these relationships and engaged in hands-on activities where students worked in groups to solve problems involving set operations. The class also discussed real-life examples of sets, such as how different categories of items can overlap or remain separate in everyday situations.<\/p>\n<p>During the online lessons, students used Desmos website because Desmos has a Venn Diagram tool where students can input different sets and immediately see the union, intersection, and complement. This activity allows them to create and manipulate their own diagrams.
