This week, as part of our first unit, “Cultural Clocks,” students participated in a short group activity where they were challenged to build the tallest structure using only paper and tape, while applying design principles such as repetition, variety, movement, and balance. The goal was to emphasize our Key Concept: Communication. Throughout the activity, students needed to effectively share their ideas, divide tasks, and collaborate to construct their structure. The group that built the tallest structure that could stand on its own was declared the winner. During the reflection process, students recognized the importance of communication in achieving their goal.<\/p>\n
