In Grade 8, students discussed how lifestyle choices affect our health and well-being. They also started working on achieving their self-selected physical goals. In Grade 9, students began to explore the concepts of balance and adaptation. One of their tasks this week was to prepare a healthy and balanced meal and explain why they considered their meal nutritious. Grade 10 students are starting to research different training methods and develop a workout plan for their peers. They will present their workouts over the coming weeks.<\/p>\n<p>The PE department is\u00a0also planning a fitness competition to find ABIS&#8217; fittest middle school students. The competition will involve age-appropriate fitness challenges, and the winners will be determined based on a points system.
