Your child has probably uploaded their poster\u00a0 on Seesaw journal.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Math problem solving strategy: Guess &amp; Check using commutative property in addition (2 + 3+ 4 is the same as 2+4+3)\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Learning to play games &#8211; BUMP &amp; Number Hives<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Library Expectations &amp; Read Aloud \u2018The Way I feel\u2019: While one group of students were oriented to the mindful use of the library and check out books, the other group listened to a read-aloud of the book \u2018The Way I feel\u2019 and learned some feeling words &#8211; disappointed, bored, frustrated, curious<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Fast facts pre-assessment &#8211;\u00a0 recording the results on a bar graph (this is a cyclic assessment that kids will re-take almost every month to track their progress in speed and accuracy)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>What we plan to do in Week 3:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Maths :\u00a0<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Modelling and representing numbers up to 1000\u2019s and more<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Finding 10\/100 more or less<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">UOI: Tuning in to \u2018Who We Are\u2019<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Language: Phrases being used in the class; Writing a narrative: Pre-assessment<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>How can you help:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Help your child practise fast facts at home. Real-life experiences like shopping, cooking, banking, cooking are most preferred.
