I am pleased to share that we have wrapped up the week on a high note, thanks to the wonderful turnout at last night\u2019s parent-teacher visits. It was fantastic to see so many of you engaging with your child\u2019s teachers, and we look forward to organising more of these opportunities throughout the year. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended.<\/p>\n
The ABIS Parent Committee will be having its first meeting soon. The committee members for this year are:

The Parent Committee serves an important role in our school community, with the following responsibilities:
\n\u2022 Supporting the school by advising, exploring, and helping to implement ways to improve ABIS, including realising our mission and vision.
\n\u2022 Encouraging parent involvement by assisting in the organisation of activities and events that foster parent engagement and enhance the school\u2019s atmosphere.
\n\u2022 Serving as a point of contact for parents regarding broader school topics such as events and engagement of the community.
\n\u2022 Collaborating with the Student Council to organize events and activities that engage the school community and have a positive impact on the local community.<\/p>\n
Additionally, we are looking to add two new members to the Parent Committee. If you\u2019re interested, the process is: email z.alabdulsalam@abisoman.com stating your interest. The committee will select new members based on their years at the school, ability to attend the once a month meeting from 5-6 pm, and willingness to support the school\u2019s initiatives as outlined above.<\/p>\n
