It was wonderful to welcome students back to school on Sunday morning and it was great to see so many smiles as friends greeted friends and our new students joined our ABIS community.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Thank you to all the teachers and classroom assistants who worked so hard to make the first week such a success and thank you to you, the parents, for preparing your children for their return to school. Also, of course, thank you to the students for settling so well and beginning the year in such a positive way.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Please mark your calendars for next Wednesday, September 4th, from 5:00 &#8211; 6:30 pm.\u00a0 This is when we will host our Meet the Teacher Evening, where you are invited to visit the school and the learning areas, as well as meet the teachers working with your child(ren) this academic year.\u00a0 You will receive detailed information about our curriculum and our PYP program, as well as important things like timetables, classroom routines and homework expectations. There will be 2 sessions held for each grade level, so that you can attend more than one, and you will also have the opportunity to meet all Arabic and specialist teachers and ask them any questions you might have about their programs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">You will soon be receiving some information about our After School Activity (ASA) program, which is scheduled to begin in the week of September 8th. There will be a variety of activities to choose from and we encourage you to speak with your child(ren) to identify ones which they may enjoy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Again, thank you for your support this week.
