The students have been working diligently in their groups over the past few weeks to research different types of renewable energy and to collaboratively build working models of them. All of the groups have demonstrated excellent teamwork in dividing up the research tasks and building responsibilities. They provided steady encouragement to each other along the way.<\/p>\n
It’s been impressive to see even the students who are usually more shy and reserved speaking up regularly within their teams. One group mentioned how their quietest member took the lead on the model’s electrical components and tutored the others to ensure everything was connected properly. Another team’s model of a solar farm was truly a whole-group effort, with each student contributing ideas and skills during its construction.<\/p>\n
The level of cooperation in all of the groups has been outstanding. They’ve clearly learned the value of effective communication and utilizing each person’s strengths. By the final presentations next week, the students will have gained not only knowledge about renewable sources of energy but also experience in working respectfully and productively with their peers. It’s been inspiring to witness the collaborative spirit and new confidence that many have developed along the way.
