Please be reminded that Glen, Sharouq, and I have guided students to develop a more proactive and positive approach to learning through the lens of self-management, particularly time management.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Transdisciplinary (Literacy + UoI) Summary<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">This week, students finalized a deep study of character through an essay examining character, setting, and theme in a graphic novel in <\/span><b>reading<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. They also applied this thinking to publishing a graphic novel intertwining the themes of migration and climate change in <\/span><b>writing<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. Lastly, they created a slideshow and narrated it to finish up their work in their last PYP <\/span><b>Unit of Inquiry<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Numeracy Summary<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">This week, students reflected on their progress by reviewing an assessment. They used visible thinking protocol: 3-2-1 Bridge.
