Before starting their draft, each student was asked to think about a few key questions: What makes a hero? What traits might a hero possess? How might\u00a0these traits lead them to be heroic? Using the quote below as a conversation starter,\u00a0we discussed how ordinary people can become heroes out of conflict and difficult circumstances.
