In reading, students finished up a character study about likeable\/unlikeable traits, internal\/external pressures, and text-to-self\/-text\/-world connections through a write long, which is due on Sunday morning. In writing, students should finish their own graphic novel to publish, which is due on Sunday morning, in order to celebrate in an artist alley. In unit of inquiry, students added their ideas from a variety of learning engagements to a presentation. Everyone exercised their agency to research a historical nomad or a period in history of migration through risks, challenges, and opportunities for the migrants and their impact(s) on their place of origin and destination.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Mathematics Summary<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">This week, students built and clarified their understanding of algebra through relationships: addition and subtraction, multiplication and division, multiplication and addition, division and subtraction, and exponents. Students engage daily with materials, quizzes, assignments, and increased expectations.
