Good afternoon and Welcome to the end of week 25.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Ramadan Kareem to all who are observing this very special time of year.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This week in math students have been learning about numbers: rational numbers, positive and negative integers through accurately plotting those numbers are coordinates on a number line. For integrated language and UOI, while students have begun inquiring into the central idea:<\/span> \u2018Flight inspires scientific innovation\u2019<\/b> they have also been learning about reading for understanding and word attack skills to make meaning when reading, in particular when reading unfamiliar \u2018Lingo\u2019. Students have also learnt about plagiarism, academic honesty, referencing their research and writing in <\/span>MLA format<\/b><\/a><\/span><\/span> with \u2018in text\u2019 citations. All details regarding this week’s learning engagements and tasks can be seen using our google classroom platform. Please do talk with your children about this as a point for conversation and to gain insight into what they are learning about in class.<\/span><\/p>\n
