Speaking of which, some students will take everything home, some students will place artifacts of learning on the walls of the G6 learning space, some students placed artwork in the LC3 atrium, and a few students kept their visual presentations intact in the LC1 or LC2 atrium. Overall, I hope that you\u2019re as proud of your child(ren)\u2019s accomplishments as their teachers are throughout this learning journey.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>School Events &#8211; Important Dates<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Term Break<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> = Sunday \u2013 Thursday, February 25 &#8211; 29, 2024<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>PYPX Celebration<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> = Monday, March 4, 2024<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>Barcelo Resort: G6 overnight trip to Mussanah<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> = Wednesday &amp; Thursday, March 6 &#8211; 7, 2024<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>Student-Led Conferences<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> = Monday &amp; Tuesday, April 22 &#8211; 23, 2024<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Exhibition (or Literacy + Numeracy + UoI) Summary<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">This week, students demonstrated their agency: choice, ownership, and voice by presenting their PYP Exhibition projects. It was most excellent to have friends and family join us for the penultimate learning celebration in the primary years on Tuesday evening! Because of this, there\u2019s not much to summarize as you\u2013yourself\u2013were part of this week\u2019s learning. Please take some time to check out <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/drive\/folders\/1ld9XQRjiDM1SIixfcB3XuN4CPZjU1fMi?usp=sharing\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">G6 W23 in Pictures<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> by adding, downloading, or just browsing through all of the sights and sounds throughout the week.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">There are some highlights that I want to point out. Students recorded <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/drive\/folders\/1nqYFfKKTKt7oL6JUBEo-bC4S8jdv9ZqW?usp=sharing\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">an initial TED Talk<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> on Monday afternoon in preparation for presentations on Tuesday and Wednesday. Students recorded <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/drive\/folders\/1jB-mf3WOypyZZ0ivZhvNVQUnl4ivaC5j?usp=sharing\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">another take of a TED Talk<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> on Wednesday afternoon to chart how much they\u2019ve progressed from meeting with so many different audiences. Last but not least, students created a short video\u2013a bit like a promotional video or commercial\u2013summarizing their <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/drive\/folders\/1N65_VAyOMhVcvwWu6b6B27Qn6t3-r1Gy?usp=sharing\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">PYP Exhibition learning journey<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Home Learning &#8211; aka Homework<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Enjoy a well-deserved break!
