This included working to complete all of their research, collecting evidence of their learning, completing their essays, organizing their journals, creating TED Talks, finalizing plans for a visual presentation, etc. As part of our direct instruction, teachers guided students to develop self-management skills by creating or adapting a calendar: <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/document\/d\/1NofJnTmXD1TEygAQim-K71iIzK1rmNzYickILDgdwtc\/edit\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">PYPX Calendar<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Numeracy Summary<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">This week, students took an open-book assessment to complete their learning for the second mathematics module. This work has included solving word problems using strategies: long division up to four digit numbers, place value to the hundredths place, perimeter of a regular polygon, LCMs, GCFs, and Euclid\u2019s Algorithm. of different number sets. Please see the latest <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/app.seesaw.me\/a\/5d715db9-1e59-4e21-9a0d-f5bd314d7d73\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">SeeSaw post<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> for details.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Home Learning &#8211; aka Homework<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">This week, students (and their parents) could access <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/document\/d\/1h2IUH0rnAzs07RQ5UsfTs3RvKbByAzOEwyTYQ1oC6Pw\/edit#heading=h.cdca1gke8xw9\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Agency Centers<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> in order to provide a chance for students to exercise their agency and to ensure that all students would not miss out on any learning due to a meeting with a mentor or anything else.
