Year-to-Date: 1,890; December 2023: 71.1; Last Week: 45.5<\/span><\/p>\n

I completed a run last week that completely drained my energy yet revitalized my imagination for my abilities. I set out to run seven kilometers in 42 minutes or six minutes per kilometer. It\u2019s neither an overly fast pace nor a pace to feel discouraged. I\u2019ve completed many runs like this before; however, the last one\u2013to the best of memory\u2013was much earlier this year. For this particular run, my focus was more on breathing, stride, and splits as a way to control all other variables. Woot woot, mission complete!<\/span><\/p>\n

To be honest, with the stress of the examination schedule and self-management of time and emotions at school and at home, we\u2013students <\/span>and<\/span><\/i> teachers\u2013were extremely busy. It\u2019s important to check in by doing something awesome for yourself, about yourself, and by yourself. As I write this, I realize that is exactly what I just did! My results were positive and everyone should expect positive results soon. (It’s all about when mindset and a focus on foundational skills come together.)<\/span><\/p>\n

Last but not least, time waits for no one; this is such an important part of running: one foot in front of the other over and over and over again. With that same thinking and believe it or not, there are only 22 weeks left for students in PYP (primary) before they move to MYP (secondary)!
