Woo-ooo! \u2026 As I write this, I just realized that I topped out for just over fifty kilometers last week! I had one exceptional night run with my daughter under the moonlight and with cooler temperatures. If all goes well (by following last week\u2019s example), I\u2019ll reach my goal of 2,000 kilometers in a calendar year. One interesting run that I just learnt of is a backyard ultra. The concept is simple: Map out a 6.7056 km loop and run it in an hour as many times as your mind allows by starting promptly each hour. The only caveat is that you finish and stop racing if you are not at the starting line at the top of the hour.<\/span><\/p>\n

Bringing my personal life to my professional life and relating my professional life to my personal life, reflection is important. It\u2019s essential to stop and to remember what\u2019s happening and to relate small details to big goals. We\u2013Glen Nicholson and I\u2013do that in our learning community too! I\u2019m sure that you\u2019ve noticed a lot of SeeSaw Activity posts over the past few weeks, which encourage learners to find evidence of their learning in detail as they work toward meeting big goals.
