This week they have been utilizing both their social skills and self-management skills by working as duty supervisors in the ECC playground. Acting as positive role models Grade 1 wore the high visibility vests and their sun hats to ensure everyone recognised they were on duty. This provided the children with an authentic learning experience to support other young learners in our school community during challenging moments. The children were able to encourage others to make principled choices in terms of how they played with others and with the materials in the playground.
