This has been a short week, but we still managed to accomplish a lot!<\/p>\n
The sevens and eights continued to work on motif, expanding and developing their seed idea into a larger phrase or part of a dance. Their improvisation was slow motion this week, which caused a great deal of hilarity. The grade eights had a treat – with a couple of minutes to spare at the end of the lesson, they learned a small piece of the contemporary phrase I had learned the previous night while at Dance class in Muscat.<\/p>\n
The nines and tens and the IGCSE group also worked on motif and how to develop what they had into a longer piece of work. They then started something new and different and are presently working out the expressive intent for their group.<\/p>\n
