\nIt’s great to see literature circles taking place as part of our language programme.Literacy cirlces encourage students to delve deeper into texts they read and to learn how to make inferences. These can be teacher led or student driven.<\/p>\n<\/a>

\nMaths is is a big focus for the primary school this year. Mr Davis is joining grade 6 to assist them during their math lessons. He loves the tricky problem solving questions which require students to apply their learning to new situations.<\/p>\n<\/a>
\nSome of our grade 1 students are learning about place value. This is a very important concept which helps students to add\/subtract, multiply and divide larger numbers. Knowing that a digit has a different value depending on which place it holds as part of a number helps students to manipulate numbers and solve problems.<\/p>\n<\/a>
\nThe library is continuing to be developed as a learning hub and children are encouraged to use this space in their breaks.<\/p>\n<\/a>
\n<\/a> Shared Reading is a great way to engage children young and old.
