We had a talk from Mr Jacob and went to the exhibition room to look at a model of the port and feel some of the materials that are imported and exported.<\/p>\n<p>We then went to the control room with Mr Ahmed and saw the live map that shows the ships coming in and out of the port.<\/p>\n<p>After that they gave us some lovely snacks which the students really enjoyed. We then went to the Steinweg building and had a tour with Mr Steve, where we learned about the rocks that are crushed and exported to Qatar.<\/p>\n<p>The students saw lots of interesting things and connected to our unit on Trade. They asked relevant questions and we have had many good discussions this week.
