{"id":288371,"date":"2023-05-04T14:52:02","date_gmt":"2023-05-04T10:52:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/abisoman.com\/broadcaster\/?p=288371"},"modified":"2023-11-16T16:10:04","modified_gmt":"2023-11-16T12:10:04","slug":"dp-and-the-ia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/abisoman.com\/broadcaster\/2023\/05\/04\/dp-and-the-ia\/","title":{"rendered":"DP and the IA"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>At the end of this academic year, the DP Music students will complete their IA before they leave on summer holidays.\u00a0 This is one of three assessments the students will submit to the IB for their final coursework.\u00a0 Their IA is essentially an experimentation report: one experiment is from the perspective of a creator and the other, a performer.\u00a0 The students have been picking away at this for months, finalizing their ideas, conducting research, and transposing music to meet the boundaries of their experiments.\u00a0 Their first official draft is due on ManageBac on May 8, with the final copy due June 15.\u00a0 The students have been working with impressive diligence and focus to complete this monumental task.
