They have learnt to gather information from different sources and say it\/write it in their own words ()Paraphrasing and Summarising). They also worked in their group actively, designing and sending out surveys, doing interviews and making observations. Some groups have planned to explore the possibility of contacting some experts in the field and visit some places.
