Please remember that your child\u2019s report card will be released electronically today. You will receive a notification email from ManageBac.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">This week we continued with our routines. In Literacy, our focus was on ideas. This week\u2019s writing prompt was \u201cOur Favourite Place to Play\u201d. Our little learners beautifully illustrated their ideas and then attempted to label them.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In Mathematics, we are still working on the first steps of building a strong understanding of subtraction as well as supporting children\u2019s learning and understanding using songs. Our favourite song this week was \u201cAlice the Camel\u201d. We enjoyed singing it almost every morning this week.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">We have also introduced a new routine this week where a child becomes the \u2018greeter\u2019 and teacher helper for the day. Tetewa from our Secondary School shared a book with our little learners.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Thank you to those who returned their child\u2019s field trip permission slips and to those who volunteered to join us for our upcoming adventure.
