Reading of \u2018A long walk to water\u2019 has been really engaging and students are learning to appreciate the challenges and risks faced by migrants.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Mathematics<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">This week in Mathematics students worked to complete two math assessments &#8211; number knowledge assessment &amp; problem solving assessment. They are also getting a hang of benchmark fractions and percentages by working on the math maintenance this week.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Homework<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Homework is available to students from Sunday morning of each week and is collected for marking on Thursdays. It is your <\/span><b>child&#8217;s responsibility (part of developing self management skills) to collect this on Sunday morning<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> or failing that, the first time they are at school for the week.
