I&#8217;m on the right track having logged more than 50 km already but it&#8217;s a long road ahead. I&#8217;ll be out and about here, there, and everywhere trying to achieve this. Professionally, I&#8217;m taking a deep dive into behavior, specifically dialectical behavioral therapy. As the world moves closer to a post-pandemic reality, it&#8217;s important to acknowledge what we&#8217;ve all been through to look forward to the best version of ourselves yet. It&#8217;s just a difficult process for children still forming their identity.<\/p>\n<p>This week in G5, we launched (literally) into a new unit about space. We asked some robust questions: Should we spend money on moon landing projects? Who owns the moon and its resources? How was the universe formed? Team Awesome: Rachel, Khadija, and I have been teaching skills with an emphasis on each student developing their approach to learning in order to launch self-directed learning projects in a few weeks.
