We have been learning about sharing by making the fractions: halves and quarters. The children loved eating a quarter of an orange. They worked out that we needed 4 oranges cut into quarters for all 16 children to get an equal piece. It was also fun to make a paper pizza that we could cut up into halves and quarters to compare. During snack\u00a0 time the children showed how their fruit was also cut up into fractions. We published our Essential Agreements in a Creative way. Thank you parents for coming along to the conferences. it was a wonderful celebration of the children’s growth and learning.<\/p>\n
