Once again we were treated with an awesome assembly today.\u00a0 Thank you to Grades 2, 3 and 4 students and teachers for the great sharing.\u00a0 Next week the Kindergarten and Grade 1 classes will host the assembly.\u00a0 It’s wonderful to have parents attend these events, and a lovely way for all of Primary to get together.<\/p>\n
Please make note that the school photographs will be taken next week, Tuesday, Oct. 18th and Wednesday Oct. 19th. You have received a Newsflash with the schedule. Please ensure students wear school clothing with an ABIS branded top. The photos will be used for our school yearbook, and details for ordering will be provided at a later date.<\/p>\n
There are 2 more weeks until the end of the first quarter!\u00a0 Time is passing quickly and students have already learned so much.\u00a0 Soon teachers will be preparing the first Progress Report of the school year, which you will receive on October 27, the last day of the quarter.\u00a0 This is the day before October break, which runs from Oct. 28 – Nov. 5.<\/p>\n
After the autumn break, a new round of After School Activities will begin. You will receive more information about those, and the links for sign-ups, next week. If you are interested in offering or supporting an activity, please contact us right away.\u00a0 Thank you.<\/p>\n
The weather is finally starting to cool off.\u00a0 I hope you can enjoy some time outdoors this weekend.\u00a0 Please join us at the swim meet here at ABIS tomorrow, Friday.
