Dear KG2 Families,<\/span><\/p>\n

It is difficult to believe that we are about to leave our fourth week behind us. Before we know it, October is going to be at our door. It is amazing to observe how much our little learners have improved and developed an understanding of our expectations and routines in only four weeks. Well done, everyone! We also would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support.<\/span><\/p>\n

So\u2026. Another busy but fun filled week.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We have continued to analyze our star names. This week, our star names were Sajad, Bayan Deema, Manar and Reema. We have observed that the children are becoming familiar with letters and the patterns they see in our star names. The most exciting part of all is that they are now sharing their observations and thinking with confidence. They are learning to become efficient communicators; however; there is some room for improvement. We will continue to work on our little learners\u2019 communication skills.<\/span><\/p>\n

Additionally we have begun to focus on the concept of \u2018interaction\u2019 as part of our current unit. We supported children\u2019s learning around this with thinking routines (See Think Wonder). This is a very deep concept. We will continue to unpack this concept in the coming weeks alongside other related concepts such as responsibility, process, communication and choice.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
