{"id":276404,"date":"2022-06-22T15:13:13","date_gmt":"2022-06-22T11:13:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/abisoman.com\/broadcaster\/?p=276404"},"modified":"2022-06-22T15:13:13","modified_gmt":"2022-06-22T11:13:13","slug":"g6-week-40-in-review","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/abisoman.com\/broadcaster\/2022\/06\/22\/g6-week-40-in-review\/","title":{"rendered":"G6 Week 40 in Review"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">G6 Week 40 in Review<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Dear Parents and Students,<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Good afternoon and Happy Wednesday.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Congratulations to our students and in-fact our entire learning community for a wonderful, fun filled year of learning, progress, growth and accomplishment.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Students have had another big week this week with end of year assignments, completing their language, math and UOI for the year as well as reflecting on the year as a whole, enjoying some fun times in class, receiving certificates, signing each others yearbooks (they look great don\u2019t they), wrapping up and end of year processes. Today students were part of the final whole school assembly in the morning and then in the afternoon, the final secondary assembly where Grade 6 was welcomed into Grade 7 and I presented the Marie Usher Award to two students from Grade 6.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">This award is presented to students who:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Work to achieve their personal best<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Uphold ABIS values and traditions<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Demonstrate a commitment to their education<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Demonstrate the Learner Profile attributes<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Are involved in all aspects of school life<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Congratulations to <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Ammar Al Balushi and Durra (Y) Al Adul Salam. Well done!<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Ms Khadija<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">At the end of this year we bid farewell to our class Teaching Assistant Ms Khadija. She has been an integral part of our class since when she started with us and will be missed. We wish her well in her future adventures. She lives in the area and is now part of the ABIS family so who knows, we may see her again sometime in the future. All the very best Ms Khadija.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Home learning<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Thank you for your continued support of students completing their home learning throughout the year because this really does consolidate what they have been learning in school. It has been a pleasure being the grade 6 teacher this year. For those of you returning next year, I look forward to seeing you again after the break.
