Dear KG2 Families,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This week, we have started to take a closer look at our central idea (Individual choices shape the environment), focusing on each word and what they mean. We have also begun to inquire into the resources we share, beginning with paper. We have read books and watched videos about how trees are turned into paper. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have also discussed the differences between fiction and nonfiction. Then the children helped us to put a selection of books into two groups (Fiction and Nonfiction).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our Central Idea<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The children also visited our school farm with Ms Ancilla. During their visit, they were encouraged to closely observe what they saw in the farm and take mental notes of their observations (Research Skills). The focus was also on how to care for living things, especially animals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
