This week, we continued to explore living things. We enjoyed going to the farm to make observations and are going to make a shared big book about our Unit of Inquiry. The children made great observations. We will have to do more research to find out what some of the animals are. We also learnt how to give the grass nicely to the goats without teasing them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Making OBSERVATIONS of living and non-living things on the farm! We watched a grasshopper swimming in the falaj. We saw dead fish \u2026 and then: a few children saw the turtle under the bridge.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The waterfall. Careful don\u2019t step on the baby palm tree. Banana trees. What does this bush need?<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

It was fun to feed the goats, but the one got angry when we were teasing it with the grass. We pull the grass away when we feel afraid, but the goat feels like it is being teased.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Mother Tongue Monday, we read the Colour Monster story and looked at Henrique\u2019s beautiful pop-up version. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Ms Asila read Tameem\u2019s Arabic story. We listened to the story and looked at the pictures to help us understand the story and learn new words.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
