Primary has had “two” much fun in the library this week! We celebrated “Twosday”, February 22, 2022<\/strong> by sharing special bookmarks and finding books with a theme of “two”” Students could find pairs of items in a puzzle, as well as find the missing word for pairs of things ( such as Woody and………Buzz from a toy story).<\/p>\n

Other library happenings this week:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ms. Amy’s grade 4 students came in small groups on Wednesday morning for a “document” scavenger hunt. They discussed what a document might be and had fun taking picture evidence of documents around\u00a0 and used in the library.<\/p>\n

Grades 4-6 students began to reflect on their reading goals from last month, as well as chose new library books to read.<\/p>\n

Grades 2-3 students investigated privacy and security online with a new digital citizenship lesson, and also chose new library books.<\/p>\n

ECC students had their information literacy classes this week in the ECC building. We had fun reading and talking about different picture books, how pictures can help us to understand a story, and social skills. Ms. Carolina’s class enjoyed looking for similarities and differences in a picture book about twins for “Twosday”.<\/p>\n
